Your documents stay yours

PDFs often hold contracts, invoices, IDs and personal records. SnapPDF is built on one rule: we process your file to give you the result you asked for, and nothing else.

Private by default

Only you can open or download your files. There are no public links to your documents.

Encrypted

Files travel over HTTPS and are stored on our server in encrypted form, so they are not sitting there as readable PDFs.

Deleted automatically

Uploads and results are temporary. They are removed from our server within hours, not kept “just in case”.

Never sold or shared

We do not sell your files or data, or use your documents to train AI models. Ads on the site are served by Google and never see your files.

What happens to your file

  1. 1

    You upload

The file is sent over an encrypted HTTPS connection and stored in encrypted form, under a random name that has nothing to do with your file name.

  2. 2

    We process

The tool you chose runs on our own server and creates your result. Your document is not opened by a person.

  3. 3

    You download

Only you (your browser session or your account) can download the result. Each result page shows when it will expire.

  4. 4

    We delete

Your upload and your result are deleted automatically, by default within 2 hours. Deleted files cannot be recovered, not even by us.

What we collect, and why

Nothing hidden. This is the complete list.

You are in control

  • Delete any upload or result yourself, any time.
  • Use every standard tool without creating an account.
  • Skip the AI tools if you want your document to stay on our server only.
  • Ask us to delete your account and data at any time.

Common questions

Do you read my documents?

No. Files are processed automatically by software. Our team does not open or browse user documents.

Do you use my files to train AI?

No. Your documents are never used to train AI models, ours or anyone else’s.

What happens when I use the AI tools?

AI Summarizer and Translate PDF send the text of your document to an AI provider, only to create your result. If you prefer that your document never leaves our server, simply do not use the AI tools. All other tools run entirely on our own server.

Do I need an account?

No. You can use the tools without signing up. Without an account, your files belong to your browser session; with an account, they belong to you.

Can I delete my files earlier?

Yes. You can remove an upload or a result yourself at any time. Otherwise they are deleted automatically when they expire.

Do you use tracking or advertising cookies?

Our own cookies are only those needed to keep you signed in and to protect the site, plus your display preferences. The ads on the site are provided by Google AdSense, and we measure visits with Google Analytics; both may set their own cookies. Your documents are never shared with advertisers or analytics.

How do I delete my account and data?

Email support@snappdf.tech from your account address and we will delete your account and its data.

Still have a question about your data?
