Plain-language rules for using SnapPDF. Last updated October 2026.
Using the service
By using SnapPDF you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. You must be able to form a binding agreement where you live, or have a parent or guardian agree for you.
Your files
You keep all rights to the files you upload. We process them only to create the result you asked for. Uploads and results are deleted automatically, by default within 2 hours. See the privacy page for details.
Acceptable use
Please use SnapPDF only for files you have the right to use, and only for lawful purposes. Do not use the service to open documents you are not authorised to access, to harm others, or to disrupt the site. Automated abuse and attempts to bypass usage limits are not permitted.
Accounts
You can use the standard tools without an account. If you register, keep your password confidential and your details accurate. You are responsible for activity under your account, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
AI tools
AI Summarizer and Translate PDF send the text of your document to an AI provider to create your result. AI output can contain mistakes, so please review important results before relying on them.
Service updates
We continually improve SnapPDF. Tools, features and limits may change over time, and we may update these terms. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
Liability
We take care to deliver accurate results, but we recommend keeping a copy of your original files. To the extent permitted by law, SnapPDF is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service.
